Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro gets a price cut of up to INR 4000 off

Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 samsung experience

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A, and the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro have been very successful for the Chinese OEM in India. The phones launched in the country almost one year ago and it helped them to become the leading smartphone OEM in the country. The series is still quite popular and the company has just now announced they will be giving it another price reduction. I say another because it already received one price cut back in November and now we’re hearing that its pricing will be slashed yet again.

It was just yesterday when it was reported that Xiaomi had given a permanent price cut for the Xiaomi Mi A2. The newly announced price reduction for the Redmi Note 5 Pro goes even deeper as it’s being reduced at up to INR 4000 off. As per reports from the IDC, Xiaom’s Redmi Note 5 series has surpassed the 1 crore units sold (that’s 10 million sales) milestone. To celebrate, Xioami is slashing the price of the Redmi Note 5 Pro in India and since there are two different models the price reduction will vary.

The less expensive version of the Redmi Note 5 Pro in India was selling for INR 15,999 and will now be reduced to INR 12,999. The reason this variant is less expensive is that it “only” comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage (some flagship devices still ship with this amount of memory). The more expensive version of the device ships with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage and it has been priced at INR 17,999. However, with this newly announced price cut, it will only cost you INR 13,999.
