We’re less than a month away from Samsung Unpacked 2019, where we will finally see the Samsung Galaxy S10 and the company’s foldable phone. Earlier this week we outlined everything we know about the Galaxy S10 so far. One of the things that we were not 100% sure about was the number of cameras on all the models. Some new leaked photos give us more information about the camera arrangements.
AllAboutSamsung has shared photos of the “mid-size” Galaxy S10 and the larger Galaxy S10+. On the surface, they don’t seem to reveal much that we haven’t already seen, but the back of the devices gives some clarity to the camera situation. We’ve known for a while that the Plus model will have triple rear cameras, but the number of cameras on the regular model has been up for debate. Some renders have shown only two cameras, while others depicted three.
In these new photos, we can clearly see both Galaxy S10 models have triple cameras on the back. The three cameras are said to be “super” wide-angle, “standard,” and telephoto. The wide-angle camera will be 16MP, f/1.9 aperture, 123-degree field of view, and it will not have OIS or autofocus. The standard camera is 12MP with the dual aperture of f/1.5 and f/2.4. Lastly, the telephoto camera will be 13MP with an aperture of f/2.4. As previously shown, the larger model also has dual front cameras, whereas the standard model only has one.
