AR Headset Launch by Apple Could Take Place With Valve’s Help Too

Now that we’re finally getting some steady reports concerning Apple’s upcoming AR headset launch, it looks like the product might materialize during the second half of 2020. To top it all off, looks like there’s a new player in town that’s expected to help Apple make this launch a possibility and surprisingly, the report mentions U.S. game developer Valve.

Report Currently Doesn’t Mention the Role of Valve in Expediting Apple’s AR Headset Launch

DigiTimes is back with more information stating that Apple has partnered with game maker Valve to push its AR headset launch for an H2 2020 unveiling. It’s currently unclear what’s Valve role will be in all of this, but it is mentioned that Apple’s Taiwanese partners, Quanta Computer and Pegatron are expected to handle the assembly part of the job. In case you didn’t know, Quanta is also reportedly responsible for delivering 16-inch MacBook Pro shipments to Apple during the fourth quarter of 2019.
