Obsidian Entertainment has revealed The Outer Worlds PC requirements and has detailed the day one patch for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One players.

Those playing the game on PC will require at least an Intel i3-3225 or AMD Phenom II X6 1100T CPU combined with an NVIDIA GTX 650 Ti or AMD HD 7850 GPU to be able to play the game. Players will need at least 40GB of free space on their setup.

An Intel Core i7-7700K or AMD Ryzen 5 1600 CPU is recommended combined with 8GB of RAM. An NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB or Radeon RX 470 GPU is being advised by Obsidian.

We’ve included the minimum and recommended system requirements below:

Xbox One and PlayStation 4 players having obtained a physical copy of the game will be forced with a rather big day-one patch that will include numerous tweaks and optimization fixes. This patch will weigh in at roughly 38GB on Xbox One and approximately 18GB on PS4. The update will be included in the pre-load of the game for those who have purchased The Outer Worlds digitally.

Obsidian recommends players to install this update before playing. “To experience the game in the best way possible, please make sure to install this update before playing”, the developer writes.

The Outer Worlds will be released globally for Xbox One, PC and PlayStation 4 on October 25.
