The Legend of Zelda Link’s Awakening has become the fastest-selling Switch game in Europe of this year, Nintendo has announced.

Nintendo announced the news through Twitter last night. “Here’s what the critics are saying about Europe’s fastest-selling #NintendoSwitch game of 2019”, the Tweet reads.

The Link’s Awakening Remake for the Nintendo Switch was released last month after being officially announced earlier this year. The game tells a compelling tale and looks gorgeous on Nintendo’s hybrid platform while staying true to the original game from 1993. Be sure to read our review of the game.

Despite owning this game when I was younger and playing it for hours, I never finished it. With this, I have finally completed a game I have such strong nostalgia for, and it feels amazing. It’s certainly not my favorite Zelda game, but The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening is one of the best remakes Nintendo has ever made and is absolutely worth playing for all Zelda fans.
