First World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth Patch 8.3 Ny’alotha Raid Test Conducted This Week

World of Warcraft Battle for Azeroth patch 8.3

Blizzard has announced that the first World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth patch 8.3 Ny’alotha raid test will be conducted later this week.

The first raid test for the upcoming Visions of N’Zoth content update will be conducted for those on the PTR this Friday at 13:00 GMT (22:00 CET). Players will be able to test the ‘Shad’har the Insatiable’ encounter in the new Ny’alotha raid by speaking to Nexus-Lord Donjon Rade III in Zuldazar, Boralus, Dalaran, Orgrimmar, or Stormwind to be teleported to the raid zone. Please note that the option to teleport into the raid zone is only available when the zone is actually open for testing.

“As always, this testing schedule is very fluid and subject to the realities of a test environment”, Blizzard writes. “We might have to change the time of a testing session, change the bosses being tested, or cancel a test entirely, due to bugs, server hardware issues, etc.”

According to Blizzard, players can use every character they want and the character’s effective level will be scaled to 120 for raid testing. Item level will be scaled to an appropriate threshold for the encounters being tested.

Generally, testing lasts for roughly 45 minutes to 2 hours. Testing will be shut down once Blizzard has gathered enough information on mechanics and potential bugs.

Battle for Azeroth’s next major content update, patch 8.3 Visions of N’Zoth, was officially announced earlier this week. The patch is now live on the PTR.
