Diablo 4 To Return To Series’ Dark Roots; More Open Environments, Druid Class To Come Back, Possibly PvP At Launch – Rumor

Diablo 4

Diablo 4 is likely getting announced at this year's Blizzcon, and, according to a leak, the game will return to the dark roots of the series.

Reddit user Practical Brush revealed the new details of the setting, which promises to be dark and gritty. Additionally, it seems like the world will be more open than ever, with characters possibly being able to ride horses and interact more with the environment.

Diablo 4 is actually going to look dark, gritty and gross - no more rainbow shiny bullshit this time! Loactions are toned down, infrequently laid with corpses, wasteland, greyish deserts, clut caves surrounded by flesh, rotten crypts, marshes and bogs, plagued cities you name it. They are also seemingly much bigger, maybe even open? Characters now are able to ride horses (possibly other mounts), also there's contextual interaction with environment ? - climbing a wall Lost Ark style. Blood splatters look more like blood and not splashed jam too.

Some of the Diablo 4 classes have also been confirmed, and the druid class will make a comeback.

So far i can confirm 3 classes: mage (uses fire, ice and lightning so far), barbarian (swords, clubs, axes, kicks etc), and druid (lightning, wind, and transforming into beasts - so far bear and werewolf!).

PVP is also, apparently, going to be in at launch.

Possibly there will be PvP from the start?. 4 player coop is there for sure.

While there is no way to know if this leak is real, well-known industry insider Daniel Ahmad stated that this lines up with what he has hard about Diablo 4.

Diablo 4 has yet to be announced. We will keep you updated on the game as soon as more come in on it, so stay tuned for all the latest news.
