Death Stranding Environments Are Extremely Immersive And Fear-Inducing

Death Stranding

The Death Stranding's world has a very eerie beauty to it, but it seems like things often go beyond being just eerie in the game.

In a fresh hand-on preview posted on Sausage Roll, it's been revealed that the Death Stranding's environments are immersive and quite fear-inducing, as the previewer often felt anxiety while exploring the world.

Death Stranding’s environment is one of the scariest and immersive I’ve ever experienced in a videogame. Although the world may seem barren and void of life, it never feels like you are truly alone… and it is terrifying. You don’t know what will pop out from where and it feels like there is this larger than life presence constantly watching you through the friggen’ clouds! It feels like Hideo Kojima took the Silent Hills vibe and injected it with steroids.

With an emotional story and great setting, Death Stranding is indeed set out to be one of the best games of the year.

We have a Death Stranding character who lives deep underground. He is sick and needs medicine, and Sam can deliver it. Since this happens at the beginning of the story, this is a must. After completing this quest, the player himself chooses the following actions: you can constantly go to the old man and carry medicine; you can deliver other items; You can listen to his stories from the past.

But the player is constantly moving forward and moving away from the character. And I’m sure that there are gamers who forget about this old man. And then they will remember and return to it. Since they have not carried medicine to him all this time, he will die by this moment. Through such actions, a connection arises with the character.

Death Stranding launches on November 8th on PlayStation 4. We will keep you updated on the game as soon as more come in on it, so stay tuned for all the latest news.
