Call of Duty Modern Warfare Patch 1.05 Released for PC/PS4/XO; Improves Stability and Prevents Crashes Across All Systems

Infinity Ward has rolled out Call of Duty Modern Warfare Patch 1.05 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

The brand-new title update for the latest Call of Duty installment aims to improve the game’s stability across all platforms. The 1.05 patch weighs in at roughly 8GB on PC, while the console patches clock at approximately 2GB in size. In addition to addressing the crashes on all platforms, this new patch also includes a fix for a Special Ops Achievement that was not unlocking after completing all missions. While we’re sure that these are not the full release notes for this new title update, we’ve included some key features of the 1.05 patch down below:

• We’ve done work on the backend to help with stability and prevent crashes across all platforms. If you experience a crash, please let us know
• Fix for a Special Ops Achievement that was not unlocking after completing all missions
• 3rd person footsteps are now silent while the Dead Silence Field Upgrade is active
• Hardpoint: Adjustments to the hill rotations and locations on Arklov Peak, Azhir Cave, Hackney Yard, Rammaza, and St. Petrograd

Interesting to note is that this update doesn’t seem to address the stuttering that PC players have been reporting during brief cut-scenes.

Modern Warfare is available globally now for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Activision and Infinity Ward released the Modern Warfare reboot last week.
