The latest Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 season is available now on PS4. This update is titled Operation Dark Divide and has a comic-book-style heroes vs. villains theme. The update includes new Blackout battle royale limited-time mode called Heavy Metal Heroes, which adds a cell-shaded visual effect, the final chapter in Black Ops 4’s Zombies storyline, a pair of maps for Black Ops Pass holders, and more.
Somewhat surprisingly, Treyarch has confirmed this will be the final Black Ops 4 operation, and it’s been strongly implied this is pretty much the end of the line for the game. This is a departure for Treyarch, who have traditionally supported their CoD titles well beyond the typical year-long window. But Treyarch is now working Black Ops 5 for 2020 (replacing a cancelled CoD title from Sledgehammer Games), so you have to imagine all their resources are being put toward that. Heavy Metal Heroes
- Quads LTM featuring new Tank vehicle, comic filter, thrust jumps, vehicle air drops, Flare Gun, new vehicle variants, ramps, infinite Grapple Gun, and new Hellion Salvo Operator.
- Cel shading comic book visual effect turned on, exclusive to Heavy Metal Heroes.
- Activate thrusters by tapping the jump button during a jump.
- Acquire Tanks via air drop or by finding and firing a Flare Gun. Two Tanks become available with each collapse.
- Mode-specific vehicle variants (ARAV, Helicopter, Motorcycle) feature new boost ability and unique visual designs.
- All players are automatically equipped with a Grapple Gun with unlimited uses.
- New Hellion Salvo Operator launcher comes equipped with multiple attachments.
- Last Quad standing wins.

- Charge up and unleash to blaze a path through zombies in a direct line.
- Available to use in all Black Ops 4 Zombies maps.

- Spawns power-ups at a much higher rate for five minutes.
Secret Shopper

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is available on PC, Xbox One, and PS4. The Operation Dark Divide content is out now on PS4, and will hit PC and Xbox One next Tuesday (October 1).
